yun dong-ju, also known as dongju yoon, was a korean poet born in longjing, jilin, china in 1917. his life, though short, was marked by an intense passion for both poetry and painting, which he honed through his studies at the myeongdong school, soongsil middle school, and yonhi college in korea. later, he moved to kyoto doshisha university in japan, where his artistic expression began to take shape.artistic expression and activism
