- Exhibited in 1875 at the exhibition organized in Montevergini, showcasing his painting "Burrasca d'autunno."
- Worked on ceiling decorations for the Teatro Massimo of Palermo (1893-1897).
- Known for deep sense of color and ability to capture the mood of the Sicilian landscape.
- Notable works include:
- "La Collezione Bonello" – part of the collection at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Valletta, Malta.
- "View of Acquasanta, Palermo."
- Visited Rome in 1883 and was invited to work in Francesco Paolo Michetti's studio but declined.
- Married Maria Anna Contarini in 1888; they had four children.
