Dame Barbara Hepworth (1903-1975) was a celebrated English artist and sculptor who revolutionized modern sculpture. Educated at Leeds School of Art and awarded a scholarship to the Royal College of Art, she co-founded Unit One Art Movement alongside Ben Nicholson and Paul Nash.
