néstor millán is a puerto rican painter, printmaker, photographer, and creator of mixed-media constructions. he earned his undergraduate degree in humanities from the university of puerto rico in 1982 and his mfa from the pratt institute in brooklyn in 1987. millán has had over 18 solo exhibitions and more than 60 group exhibitions in puerto rico and internationally. his work has been recognized with awards such as the premio de adquisición from the museo de arte de puerto rico in 1991 and the premio de adquisición from the bienal de san juan del grabado latinoamericano y del caribe in 1992.…
