Bei Kunstwerken oder Reproduktionen, die an einer Seite größer als 105 cm (ca. 41 Zoll) sind, wird der Rahmen zerlegt als Bausatz geliefert. Diese Methode gewährleistet eine sichere Zustellung und verhindert Schäden während des Transports.

Professionelle Montage erforderlich – dies ist kein DIY-Produkt.
Der Bausatz muss von einem erfahrenen professionellen Rahmenmacher zusammengebaut und die Leinwand gespannt werden. Hierfür werden Holzleim (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten), eine Leinwandspannzange sowie Klemmen benötigt, um die Keilleisten während des Trocknungsvorgangs rechtwinklig zu halten. Eine unsachgemäße Montage oder eine ungleichmäßige Spannung der Leinwand kann das Kunstwerk dauerhaft beschädigen und ist nicht durch unsere Garantie abgedeckt.

  • Alle Vollholzkomponenten sind enthalten, präzise auf Maß zugeschnitten.

  • Der Zusammenbau erfolgt mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben sowie Holzkleber für die Eckverbindungen, der nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten ist und vom Rahmenbauer selbst beschafft werden muss.

  • Professionelles Werkzeug ist erforderlich und nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten: eine Keilrahmenzange (Spannwerkzeug) sowie Klammern, um die Leisten während der Trocknungszeit des Klebers rechtwinklig zu fixieren.

Wichtiger Hinweis:
Für die Eckverbindungen wird Holzleim benötigt, die Leisten müssen mit Zwingen fixiert werden, bis der Leim vollständig getrocknet ist, und das Spannen der Leinwand auf dem fertigen Rahmen erfordert eine Keilrahmen-Zange. Keines dieser Utensilien ist im Set enthalten. Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass ein erfahrener Rahmenmacher zur Verfügung steht, bevor Sie diese Größe bestellen.

Künstlerbiografie

Frühes Leben und Ausbildung

Jan Alojzy Matejko, ein renommierter polnischer Maler, wurde am 24. Juni 1838 in Krakau, Polen, geboren. Sein Vater, Franciszek Ksawery Matejko, war ein tschechisch-stämmiger Tutor und Musiklehrer. Jans frühes Leben war geprägt von der Krakauer Revolution von 1846 und der Belagerung von Krakau durch die Österreicher im Jahr 1848 – Ereignisse, die später seine künstlerischen Themen beeinflussen sollten. Matejko besuchte das St.-Annen-Gymnasium, verließ es aber 1851 aufgrund schlechter Noten. Er zeigte jedoch schon in jungen Jahren außergewöhnliches Talent für Kunst. Von 1852 bis 1858 studierte er an der Kunstakademie in Krakau und spezialisierte sich unter der Anleitung von Wojciech Korneli Stattler und Władysław Łuszczkiewicz auf historische Malerei.

Künstlerische Karriere

Matejkos erstes bedeutendes Werk, Zaren Schujiski vor Zygmunt III, wurde 1853 fertiggestellt. Er begann, seine historischen Gemälde ab 1855 bei der Gesellschaft der Freunde der Künste in Krakau auszustellen. Zu seinen bemerkenswertesten Werken gehören:
  • Rejtan (1866): Eine großformatige Öl-auf-Leinwand-Malerei, die einen entscheidenden Moment in der polnischen Geschichte darstellt.
  • Union von Lublin (1869): Ein bedeutendes Werk, das Matejkos Fähigkeit zeigt, historische Ereignisse einzufangen.
