During his career, he traveled through Britain, Europe, and Egypt, often in the company of Lionel Lindsay or Charles Bryant. His works were exhibited in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Adelaide, and several of his paintings were accepted by the Royal Academy of Arts in London and the Salon de la Société des Artistes Français.
