Bentley’s artistic journey began in Yorkshire, where he was born into a family steeped in tradition and nurtured a lifelong passion for the natural world. Early influences included Impressionist painters like Claude Monet and Camille Pissarro, who championed capturing fleeting moments of light and color—a principle Bentley wholeheartedly embraced throughout his career.
