      aniela menkesowa, also known as aniela menkes, was a polish artist born in łódź, poland in 1897. she died in 1941. menkesowa was a painter and graphic artist, known for her figurative compositions. she studied at the warsaw school of fine arts and was associated with the avant-garde movement in poland.

      menkesowa was active in the łódź art community and exhibited her work in several cities, including łódź, warsaw, krakow, and lwów. her work was influenced by władysław strzemiński, a prominent polish artist and art theorist. menkesowa's style is characterized by its figurative compositions, which showcase her unique perspective on the world.
