A Quiet Presence in Uruguayan Art
Tancredo Gally remains a figure of focused intent within the landscape of Uruguayan painting. He did not seek to overshadow his contemporaries, but rather to contribute a specific, measured perspective to the evolving visual history of Uruguay.
