Born in Haifa, Israel, Diti Almog began her artistic journey at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, where she graduated in 1986. Her early career was characterized by multi-media works involving embroidery and printmaking, exploring themes such as gender issues in Iran, capitalism, and the aesthetics of the 1970s. During this period, her paintings were distinctly figurative, as seen in her 1992 exhibition in Tel Aviv.
