Over six days, M-City covered the control tower at Stavanger Airport, Sola, with his post-industrial stencil work. The completed 600 square metres large artwork was the first of its kind in the world. The final design for the tower mixes a background of different blues with highly detailed black and white stencils presenting post-industrial elements from the inner workings of various machinery. All sides of the tower were covered, offering the viewer a different perspective from all sides.Mariusz Waras, professionally known as M-City, is a Polish artist best known for his large-scale industrial themed murals. Combining hundreds of hand-cut stencils, the artist creates monumental urban interventions mixing intricate black and white compositions with splashes of colour.
