Susan Lukachko (b. 1956)Susan Lukachko is a Toronto-based contemporary artist who has worked in painting and in textiles. She is known for her close observation of nature in her work. In her painting, the layering of elements and illusion of woven brush strokes draws the viewer into the image creating an experience of both proximity and distance. Susan has exhibited her work at the Red Head Gallery in 2005 and the Propeller Centre for the Visual Arts in 2010 and 2013. Her work in fibre arts was represented at the Common Thread International exhibition held at the Gallery at Sheridan Institute in 2012, and at Quilt Con in 2019.
