His early years were shaped by the presence of his father, a teacher, and the simplicity of rural life. udy of drawing and geography at the Slovak University in Bratislava, yet his heart remained tether of the landscapes he had known. In 1946, he moved to Prešov, a city that would become the stage for his decades of labor.
