Briton Rivière (1840–1920) – En dybdegående kunstner og fortæller af dyreverdenen Briton Rivière var født i London år 1840 og kom fra en familie med kunstnerisk arv, hvor hans far, William Rivière, var for nogle år tilbage tegnemester ved Cheltenham College og senere kunstlærer ved Oxford Universitetet.
