A sketch of a brick windmill and a tree in the background. Berg was the son of a wealthy family in Svolvær, Lofoten. He got his education in Düsseldorf between 1883 and 1885, so this picture is most likely from his time in Germany. After his education, he travelled between his atelier in Svolvær and Germany until he died in 1893 in Berlin.
