Her artistic career was marked by diverse subjects, ranging from costume drawings for Switzer's department store to depictions of rural life. She exhibited her work with several notable organizations, including the Dublin Sketching Club, the Water Colour Society of Ireland, and the Royal Hibernian Academy. Her portfolio includes landscapes such as Low tide, Wicklow and Boats at Wicklow, dusk, as well as depictions of the Claddagh area, such as Night in Claddagh.

Beyond her visual arts, Davidson was a prolific writer and playwright. She published a collection of poems and rhymes, and wrote short stories and plays under the pseudonyms "Ulick Burke" and "Jennifer Maude." Her theatrical contributions included co-directing at the Torch Theatre and designing scenery. As an educator, she taught drawing at her own studio in Dublin and at various schools, including Belgrave school and Wesley College.
