In this work Kim succeeds in capturing “perpetuality” by seizing the instant time of “dawn” between night and day. The English alphabets lined up on the bottom indicate the initials of the days of the week. The dawn here is bathing in pale blue light. Kim seeks to convey the eternity of everything, which is undeniably momentary and ever-changing.
