• By 2004, Bibi Productions employed approximately 35,000 rural weavers across Bangladesh, demonstrating a commitment to economic empowerment through artisanal work.

Global Recognition and Fashion Shows

• With support from UNESCO, Russell organized her first European fashion show in Paris in 1996, introducing Bengali aesthetics to an international audience.
• Further expanded her global presence with “The Colours of Bangladesh” fashion show in Spain in 1997.
