Born in Bangalore, India, Alfred Reginald Thomson navigated a world defined by profound silence. He began his professional life designing posters for a whisky company and later created striking advertisements for Daimler Cars. The most significant chapter of Thomson's career unfolded during World War Two, when he served as an official War Artist to the Royal Air Force.
