Suzuki Harunobu
Early Life and Influences Suzuki Harunobu, en pionjär inom japansk *ukiyo-e*-konst, föddes 1725 i Tokyo – då kallat Edo – och dog 1770 samma stad. Om hans tidiga liv är relativt dunkel, så vet vi att han troligen växte upp i Kyoto, där många av de konstnärliga influenserna han senare skulle ta del av var starka. Hans verk bär tydliga spår av inspiration från en rad olika mästare, bland annat Torii Kiyomitsu, Ishikawa Toyonobu, Kawamat…
