João Samina: A Cartographer of Urban Narratives
João Samina, a name increasingly recognized within the global street art landscape, is more than just a painter; he’s a visual storyteller meticulously crafting narratives from the concrete and steel of contemporary urban spaces. Born in Portugal in 1989, Samina's artistic journey began with humble beginnings – early explorations with stickers on Lisbon’s streets at the tender age of fourteen. This initial foray wasn’t merely about tagging; it was a deliberate immersion into the pulse of the city, an apprenticeship under the watchful eyes of seasoned street artists and a crucial period of self-discovery.
