Giovanni Costa (Nino Costa): Pionir Italijanskog Pejzažnog Slikarstva Giovanni Costa, s ljubavlju zvan “Nino” tokom života i kasnije slavljen kao Giovanni Costa, bio je ključna figura u razvoju italijanskog pejzažnog slikarstva u 19. veku. Rođen u Rimu 15. oktobra 1826. godine, u porodici duboko ukorenjenoj u trgovinu – njegov otac, Gioacchino Costa, osnovao je uspešnu fabriku za predenje vune – Costin umetnički put započeo je neočekivano, negovan ranim susretom sa baronom Vincenzom Camuccinijem, istaknutim neoklasicističkim slikarom.
