Rano detinjstvo i umetničko formiranje u Firenci Rođen kao Bačo dela Porta 28. marta 1472. godine, u toskanskom gradiću Savinjano di Prato, rani život Fra Bartolomea bio je prožet živopisnom umetničkom atmosferom renesansne Italije. Sam nadimak „Bačo dela Porta“ — što znači „Poljubac kapije“ — nagoveštava skromno početke, s obzirom na to da je njegova porodica živela u blizini Kapije San Pjera Gatolini. Njegovo formalno obrazovanje počelo je oko 1anak 1483. ili 1484. godine kada je ušao u radionicu Kozima Roselija, cenjenog firentinskog slikara poznatog po svojim impresivnim ciklima fresaka.…
