Rani život i početak umetničkog puta

Venanco Kročeti, istinski italijanski vaskrsli vajar, rođen je u Giulianovi, u regiji Abruco, 3. avgusta 1913. godine. Njegov život obeležila je duboka, gotovo opsesivna strast prema umetnosti, koja ga je izvela na vrhove svetske slave kao jednog od najrenomiranijih umetnika svog vremena. Tragičan događaj u detinjstvu, kada je sa samo dvanaest godina ostao siroče, primorao ga je da se suoči sa ekstremnim siromaštvom.
