Ignacio Zuloaga y Zabala: Vytvorenie Španielskej Realistickej Identirty Ignacio Zuloaga y Zabala, narodený v baskických mestách Eibar v roku 1870, predstavuje kľúčovú postavu v španielskej maľbe konca 19. a začiatku 20. storočia. Jeho umelecká cesta nebola predurčená; skôr sa rozvinula z náhlych iskier zapálenej počas cesty do Ríma s jeho otcom. Pochádzajúc zo rodiny hlboko zakorennejúcej sa v remeslách – jeho otec bol skúsený damascén a dedko kráľovský brúsil, Zuloaga na začiatku vyzeral ako muž určený pre konvenčnejšiu cestu. Avšak očarenosť umeleckým vyjadrením sa ukázala ako neodolateľná…
