The Life and Art of Emerson Woelffer Emerson Woelffer was an American artist and educator born in Chicago, United States. A prominent figure in the abstract expressionist movement, his creative practice spanned various mediums, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, and lithographs. He is particularly recognized for his boldly colored abstract paintings and collages characterized by jagged forms. In the later stages of his career,
