The Life of Queen Victoria Victoria was the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 20 June 1837 until her death in 1901. Born at Kensington Palace, United Kingdom, she was the daughter of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and Strathearn, and Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld.
