Gyvenimas, pas डूबęs į baroko prachtą Pierre Mignard, gimęs Prancūzijoje, Troyes mieste, 1612 metais, buvo viena svarbiausių figūrų Prancūzijos baroko tapukų pasaulyje, nors dažnai buvo prislėgtas savo samties ir rivalo, Charles Le Brun, šlovės. Kilęs iš paprastos meistrių šeimos, Mignard veik laiko pasidemonstravo meninį polinkį, kuris nukreipė jį į Bourges, ten jis pradėjo mokytis Jean Boucher, tapui, tvirtai įsikibusiame manierizmo…
