Baroko didingumo Neapolio meistras Francesco Solimena, gimęs 1657 metaisis nedidele Italijos miestelyje Canale di Serino, šalia Avellino, tapo viena reikmingiausių vėlyvųjų baroko laikotarpio Neapolio taperio figūra.
