Early Life and Education Kim Hyung-dae, also known as kim hyungdae, was born in 1936 in Osan, South Korea. He graduated from the Department of Painting at Seoul National University in 1961. His early life involved a period of independent living after being discovered by a casting agent, which he considered formative to his personal development.
