Early Life, Family and Training Erich Klossowski enters the world on 19 December 1875 in Ragnit, a town situated in the Province of East Prussia within the German Empire. He is born into a family of Polish nobility, carrying the Rola coat-of-arms. His lineage is defined by the professional standing of his father, Leonard Klossowski, who serves as a lawyer, notary, and judge in Ragnit. His mother is Lisbeth Doeurk de Fréval. The path t
