Born in Kőszeg, Austria-Hungary – now Hungary – his early life shaped a distinctly international perspective that would profoundly influence
his artistic vision. Moving to Kansas City as a young boy, he immersed himself in the vibrant art scene and honed his skills under the tutelage of Mlle. F. Blumberg and at the prestigious Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
