Trijumf u Frederiksborgu i trajno nasljeđe

Blochov uspon na vrhunac započeo je izložbom Prometeja oslobođenog u Kopenhagenu 1865. godine, označavajući prekretnicu u njegovoj karijeri. Čak su poslužile kao vizualne reference za filmove koji prikazuju bibličke priče. H.C. Andersen, proslavljeni danski pisac, prepoznao je Blochov izniman talent, predviđajući da će “postati plemenit na Zemlji” i uzdići se prema “velikom nebu umjetnosti”. Karl Madsen također ga je proglasio jednim od “najplemenitijih među svima!” Carl Heinrich Bloch preminuo je u Kopenhagenu 22. veljače 1890. godine, ostavljajući za sobom djelo koje nastavlja nadahnjivati divljenje i poštovanje.
