Rani život i umjetnički počeci Gerrita Doua Gerrit (Gerard) Dou, rođen 7. travnja 1613. godine u Leedenu, Nizozemska, bio je iznimno talentiran slikar koji se istaknuo tijekom Zlatnog doba nizozemskog slikarstva.
