Lucian Freud
Lucian Freud Lucian Michael Freud (8. joulukuuta 1922 Berliini – 20. heinäkuuta 2011 Lontoo) oli brittiläinen taidemaalari. Hänen teostensa aiheina ovat usein hänen elämänsä todelliset ihmiset. Freud syntyi Berliinissä juutalaiseen perheeseen. Hänen isänsä oli Sigmund Freud, jonka nuorin poika Ernst Ludwig Freud (1892–1970) ja hänen veljensä Clement Freud olivat Lucianin sisarukset. Freud pakeni vuonna 1933 perheensä kanssa natsi-Saksasta ja sai Britannian kansalaisuuden vuonna 1939, hänet koulutettiin Central School of Arts and Craftsissa ja East Anglian School of Painting and Drawingissa…
