Giacomo Balla
Varhaiset Vuodet ja Koulutus Giacomo Balla syntyi Torinossa, Italiassa 18. heinäkuuta 1871. Hänen perheellään oli taiteellisia yhteyksiä; hänen isänsä oli valokuvaaja. Aluksi hän opiskeli musiikkia yhdeksän vuoden ikään asti. Isänsä kuoleman jälkeen hän työskenteli litografiapainossa, mikä herätti kiinnostuksen visuaaliseen taiteeseen. Hän opiskeli paikallisissa akatemioissa ja myöhemmin Torinon yliopistossa. Vuonna 1895 hän muutti Roomaan, jossa hän aloitti työskentelyn kuvittajana, karikaturistina ja muotokuvamaalarina.
