Edward Hicks
Edward Hicks – Quaker Art, Peaceable Kingdom Edward Hicks (1780-1849) oli ainutlaatuinen henkilö sekä amerikkalainen taiteilija että Quaker-ministeri, jonka nimi tunnetaan erityisesti ’ Rauhallisen Valtakunnan’ maalauksista. Hänen tarinansa ei ole pelkästään itseoppimaisen maalarin historia vaan syvästi uskonnollisen kokemuksen tuottaja, joka muutti hänen näkökohtansa taiteeseen.
