The Formative Years in Denmark In the quiet farming community of Tisvilde, within the north of Zealand, a young boy grew up surrounded by the rhythms of nature and the presence of his grandparents. This early life, rooted in the soil and the simple beauty of the countryside, would later find its way into his brushstrokes. After finding his footing at Copenhagen's Technical School, he sought deeper instruction under Kristian Zahrtmann. I
