Early Life and Education Born: October 7, 1930, in Lanús Oeste, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina Died: 2018, Paris, France Received his education at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredón in 1953, graduating as a Professor of Drawing and Engraving. came interested in geometric abstraction. Joined forces with Julio Le Parc, François Morellet, Jean Pierre Yvaral, Francisco Sobrino, and Horacio García Rossi. Co-founded the Groupe de Recherche d’Art Visuel (GRAV) in 1960. GRAV aimed to bridge the gap between art and the public through light, movement, and space.
