A Life Imbued with Uruguayan Essence Pedro Figari, jméno synonymum pro rozkvět latinskoamerického modernismu, byl mnohem víc než jen malíř. Byl to mnohostranný intelektuál – právník, spisovatel, politik a především umělec, který se celým svým životem věnoval zachycení duše Uruguaye. Narodil se v Montevideu v roce 1861 a jeho cesta nebyla cestou k okamžitému uměleckému úsilí. Nejprve přitahován právem, získal titul právníka v roce 1886…
