Early Life and Artistic Training William Dyce (1806–1864) se narodil v Aberdini, ve Skotsku, jako syn Dr. Williama Dyce FRSE, lékaře a člena Královské společnosti, a Margaret Chalmers, dcery bohatého bankéra.
