Early Life and Education Daniel Maclise, narozený 25. ledna 1806 v Corku, Irsko, byl synem Alexander McLisha, řemeslníka a obchodu s kůží, a Rebecca McLeishové. Jeho rané vzdělání proběhlo v Corku, kde již od dětství projevoval mimořádný talent pro kreslení a umění.
