Recognizing Murumbi’s unwavering dedication to promoting Kenyan heritage and fostering dialogue between cultures, Donovan envisioned a space where artistic excellence could flourish alongside intellectual curiosity. The House itself was conceived on the mud structures of West Africa – reflecting Donovan’s profound respect for architectural heritage and symbolizing the continent’s enduring connection to its roots.
