The son of Danish immigrants, Walter Kuhlman carries the influence of his heritage from the American Midwest to the coastal winds of Northern California. His early training at the St. Paul School of Art under Cameron Booth provides a foundation that soon expands toward Europe and the radical shifts of the mid-century.
